Introduction

Our food system reflects characteristics of the society and power dynamics. Social innovations have the power to shape our food system. They open up opportunities along the whole food chain, starting new partnerships and increase the sustainability of food systems. 
Examples for social innovations in the food system include food coops, food sharing platforms or community supported agriculture.
